President Pat Littlejohn was invited to be a keynote speaker at the 2019 Kentucky Fatherhood Summit held Friday, September 27th in Lexington, KY. The summit, sponsored by the Kentucky Cabinet of Health and Family Services, presented a collaborative opportunity for social service professionals, legislators, law enforcement agencies, academicians, grassroots non-profits, and faith-based organizations to focus on pathways to influencing the future of fatherhood in Kentucky.

2nd Annual Reel Connection Makes Splash for Fatherhood

In early October, Bassmaster Davy Hite left the boat ramp at Dreher Island State Park with this year’s father and son fishing team Nic Via and son Angelo who entered the 2019 Reel Connection Campaign in June. Their names were randomly selected from all who entered, and they were contacted with the good news on Father’s Day.

Agencies work “Better Together” to Promote Father Inclusion

On Friday, October 4th, representatives from more than a dozen state agencies and public service institutions met for the third time to investigate ways to collaboratively develop and sustain policies, programs and practices that promote father inclusion.
