We are dedicated to empowering families by guiding fathers in cultivating vital skills for responsible and engaged parenting.
Founded in 2002, the South Carolina Center for Fathers and Families has served nearly 40,000 fathers through educational programs and family services that help fathers become great dads. Established by the Sisters of Charity Foundation in South Carolina to help alleviate poverty among families across the state, the Center carries on the mission and legacy of the Sisters of Charity of St. Augustine, which began in 1851, bringing health and healing to fathers, families, and communities. We love supporting our regional fatherhood partners as they provide community programs and services for dads. We're also passionate about shining a light on important issues and challenges related to fatherhood. Our goal is to educate practitioners, policymakers, and the public on how we can tackle the long-standing challenges that come with father absence together.
