George Floyd was a father. His name has now been added to a growing list of African American men whose lives have been senselessly taken through violent acts of racism and hate, leaving more fatherless children to grow up without the presence and support of a father.

On June 10th, 2020, the day after George Floyd was laid to rest, the Center released an official statement calling for an end to the systemic racism that is destroying our communities and our nation.
