Life Skills and Spiritual Development

"Laying the foundation for father success"

Many have argued that you can't address critical issues affecting fathers connecting or reconnecting with their children unless you address the underlying issues that may be driving the potential disconnect. This program initiative will seek to address this aspect of necessary skill development needed to build strong relationships between fathers and families by assisting fathers in the areas of parenting, self-esteem, spiritual development and sustaining and building strong family relationships, to name a few. This initiative is a critical component to addressing the holistic aspect of the father in his quest to be engaged in the lives of his children.

Outcome Strategy:

Addresses the holistic aspect of the father, which is needed to be a successful father, obtain employment and be a participant in mainstream society.

This initiative will be carried out in partnership with The South Carolina Fatherhood Practitioners Network. The specific focus will be on technical assistance, training and workshops in Life Skills and Spiritual Development.
